POLICIES

APPOINTMENT & CANCELLATION

Appointments are reserved specifically for your pet. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

    •    No-shows (missed appointments without notice) will result in a no-show fee.

    •    Repeated no-shows may require prepayment for future appointments.

LATE ARRIVAL

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.

    •    Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be subject to a late fee.

    •    Excessive lateness may require the appointment to be rescheduled or shortened to avoid impacting other clients.

PRICING

Prices are estimates and may vary based on:

    •    Coat condition (matting, shedding, length)

    •    Pet behavior

    •    Size and breed

    •    Additional services requested

Severely matted coats may require extra time, additional fees, or humane shave-downs for the pet’s comfort.

HEALTH & BEHAVIOUR

For the safety of your pet and our staff:

    •    All pets must be up-to-date on required vaccinations.

    •    Aggressive or excessively stressed dogs may be refused service or require pickup.

    •    Owners must disclose any medical conditions, behavioral issues, or bite history prior to grooming.

MATTED COATS

Matted coats can be painful and may require shaving.

    •    Extra fees may apply for de-matting.

    •    We will not perform painful or unsafe de-matting.

FLEAS & TICKS

For the safety of all pets and our salon, we maintain a strict flea & tick policy.

If Fleas or Ticks Are Found

If live fleas or ticks are discovered during the groom, a mandatory flea/tick treatment will be performed.

    •    This service will be added to your bill (price varies by size/coat).

    •    In severe cases, the groom may be stopped or rescheduled.

    •    Extra cleaning/sanitizing fee may apply for heavy infestations.

Why This Matters

Fleas and ticks are parasites that can spread quickly, cause skin issues, and transmit diseases to pets and humans. Even one infested dog can contaminate the salon.

Salon Safety Protocol

    •    All tools and grooming areas are sanitized immediately after a flea/tick case.

    •    This may cause delays for following appointments.

Prevention Requirement

    •    We strongly recommend dogs be on regular flea & tick prevention year-round, as infestations can happen even in clean homes or indoor pets  .

Client Responsibility

    •    Owners must inform us before the appointment if they suspect fleas or ticks.

    •    Failure to disclose may result in additional fees or refusal of future service.

Right to Refuse Service

    •    We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet has a severe infestation or poses a risk to other pets.

PICKUP

Please pick up your pet promptly once grooming is complete.

    •    Dogs left longer than 30 minutes after completion may incur a daycare or boarding fee.

INJURY & LIABILITY

While every precaution is taken, grooming carries inherent risks.

    •    We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, elderly pet complications, or stress-related issues.

    •    Any veterinary care needed due to grooming will be discussed immediately.

PAYMENT

Payment is due at time of service. We accept all forms of payment.
